Step inside Art at Vixen’s home gallery to see The Wild Within, an exhibition of original animal portraits by Lancashire artist Kirsten Todd, presented as part of the Visual Artists Association’s Open Spaces Global art trail.

Each animal embodies a different quality, from curiosity and wisdom to force and resilience. Kirsten builds the paintings through layers of colour and intuitive marks, allowing the animals and their surroundings to flow into one another, symbolising our connection to the animal kingdom, nature itself and all that exists.
